A small forging shop located in South-Western Ontario. The company has experienced great improvements in lead generation from the Internet after we replaced their outdated HTML "dinosaur" with a convenient, smart and good-looking website on WordPress. The tricky part of this project was that while it was supposed to create an impression of a premium-class online store, the e-commerce functionality was actually inapplicable. This wrought iron shop has been in business for decades, but the primary, if not the only, source of new customers was word of mouth. They did have a website built "by a friend" in 1995. User experience was "bliss", particularly for smartphone users. Nobody ever even thought about advertising, until they did.

Fortunately, it was Aurum Digital who they asked to rebuild the website and set up search ads. The new site was launched in three months, and their search ads made them a leading business in the region. Word of mouth is still a great source of new business, but over 70% of new leads come from the website.

Precision Targeting

This insurance agency with headquarters in Illinois had a hard time getting a positive return from Google Ads. The number of trash leads and irrelevant traffic from ads was unacceptable.

We suggested (and implemented) a few critical adjustments to the website's landing pages and the Google Ads account. Engagement stats improved almost instantly. Excluding all irrelevant audiences and accurately defining the relevant ones took about a month. A fitness education provider located in Australia offers a variety of programs, both online and in-person, to students of all ages starting from high school graduates. With so many courses and target audiences, it was vital to efficiently distribute the budget and make sure that every penny was spent wisely.  

After a thorough review, together we decided to focus the budget on the most promising products, judging by the size of the market and the average marginal value. We set up a mix of precision Search Ads and retargeting via Performance Max. The lowest average cost per lead of around $50 and the constantly improving quality of leads proved our "recipe" right.
